Welcome to My Frog

Hi everybody! I've decided to make a blog here, because I'm not in regular contact with a lot of you guys. I'll keep you posted here.

After a long and unsuccessful job search I have finally found a job with the Duluth Parks Maintenance. I applied at the work force center a couple months ago for a youth work program that I didn't really realize I was signing up for at the time. So now I paint picnic benches with high school kids all day and fill out a journal of what I've learned. It's pretty miserable and I can't stand most of the kids I work with, but I do it to pay rent I suppose. It couldn't have come at a better time, since I have been living off of plasma money since I paid July rent and have no money for the August payment. Don't worry, I can always get my parents to bail me out, but I'd rather not ask. Anyways, I'm still looking for a weekend job that I can carry over into the school year.

The first half of my summer was really uneventful, but very relaxing. Throughout May and June I read a whole lot, which was great. I would have liked to have drawn more before, but sometimes my self just can't be pushed. I try to stress as little as possible over the summer, it's a little more difficult now that I have a job that is hard to put up with, but I still get plenty of time to myself. As I read someone quoted Bill Watterson saying, "If your knees aren't green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life."

I'm going to put up a few drawings with every post in an attempt to keep in practice. Also there are puppy pictures to come!
